Visit of Erasmus + Partners in Portugal 3 - 7 May 2016
The sixth and final mobility of the Erasmus+ project The European Identity through Art, financed by the European Union, took place in Portugal, on 3-7 May. Colégio Infante Santo received 30 students and 21 teachers from the partner countries: France, Italy, Greece, Poland and the Czech Republic.
From an intense and bold program week, we highlight the school reception and the visits to Fátima, Santarém, Lisbon (Belém and Parque das Nações), Sintra, Bombarral, Óbidos and Évora, which showed students and teachers some of the most beautiful of our country's corners, as well as monuments of several artistic periods, studied throughout the project.
We emphasize, on the first day, the reception of the European delegation in the City Hall of Santarém, by the Councillor for Education, on 5th of May the guided tour of the Berardo Museum and the workshop, "The First Time in a Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art".
On Friday, the participants were involved in the collaborative work of art – drawing and painting Maluda’s windows, a famous Portuguese painter. At the end of the day, in the school canteen took place the Farewell Dinner, a wonderful moment for all the participants, where were also the host families of our European students.
The set of activities carried out was another opportunity to achieve the goals of our project - to raise awareness for the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, to know European art and their inter-influences in Europe, to develop skills in English and promote the European dimension!
